Never Forget To Say Lailahailallah

Poem written by : Khurram Malik

To be able to defeat,
Shaytaan and his deceit,
Ask Allah for help and repeat,
Lailahailallah.

<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>

If we want to succeed,
We must purify our greed,
Obey him in every deed,
Lailahailallah.

No One but Allah.

Poem written by : Khurram Malik

Who filled the world with light?
Who raised the mountain high?
Who raises us when we die?
No one but Allah.

With Iman

By Asma Nayeem

With Iman comes knowledge
of the meaning of existence,
With Iman comes belief
in reward and punishment!

With Iman comes awareness
of the right and the wrong,
With Iman comes the journey
to Kabah where people throng!

With Iman comes gratitude
for the mercy & blessings,
With Iman comes contentment
with little, or nothing!

Islamic Creed

Allah is my lord,
Quran is my light

We forbid what is wrong,
And enjoin what is right

Sunnah is my role model,
Islam is my way

Jihad is my life,
Good deeds are my pay

Righteousness is my character,
Justice is my goal

In The Name of Allah

By Reem Khan (Australia – 18 yr old muslimah)

In the name of Allah

In the name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Kind,

Praise be to Allah, who gave the Quran to mankind.

Its verses so pure, its context so divine,

As it purifies our souls, our hearts and our mind.

Glorified is He, who chose one noble man,

From amongst those living in the Arabian land.

Ya-nabee-Allah! May Allah’s blessings be upon thee,

For thou art the one who set an example for me.

Eid Mubarak - a Poem

Eid Mubarak - what a strange day,
where we all go out to play.

fasting has gone,
normal lives are back on.

when we go back to the same old routine,
ignorance wide-spread - a familiar scene.

When You Look At Me

When you look at me,

What do you see?

Someone restricted within her beliefs?

Cannot think or gain freedom like everyone else?

When you look at me,

What do you see?

Someone illiterate, backward and boring?

Well, I beg to differ,

That is not me,

Whispers of Shaytan

Stay in your bed, don’t make a fuss.
Your prayers can wait, give in to your nafs.

What! Go to the mosque, the path you’ll pave?
Don’t bother, think of the gas you’ll save.

Why go the extra miles to be kind?
Don’t share that smile, they won’t mind

Wake up!

Where are the Malcolms and where are the X's
People of today come back to your senses
Before the day comes where there'll be no recompenses
We are wasting our time at heaven’s expenses
Claim over the fences and lay over the Benz’s

The west looks at me with a funny type of way
Frown, clown do what you want but I'll never turn around
From the sunnah of the Prophet and the Holy Quran
Which makes up the perfect deen, the religion of Islam

The Straight Path

by Akmal Hasan

Narrated : Abdullah ibn Mas'ud

MISHKAT AL-MASABIH

No: 0166

Allah's Messenger (peace_be_upon_him) drew a line for us and then said: That is the path shown by Allah. Then he drew several other lines on his right and left sides and said: These are the paths on every side of which there is a devil calling towards it. He then recited this verse: `Verily this path of Mine is straight so adhere it.' (5:167)

Transmitted by Ahmad, Nasa'i and Darimi.

THE STRAIGHT PATH.
He Rasulallah (sallallahu 'alaihi wassalam) once drew a line,
The man so great so sublime.
And he (sallallahu 'alaihi wassalam) said, “This is my Path”
All other trails obtain Allah’s Wrath.

Operation Death

By G.H.E Vanker

It was early in the morning at four.
When death knocked upon a bedroom door.
"Who is there?" the sleeping one cried.
"I'm Izrael, let me inside."

At once, the man began to shiver,
as one sweating in deadly fever.
He shouted to his sleeping wife,
"Don't let him take away my life."

"Please go away, O Angel of Death!
Leave me alone, I'm not ready yet.
My family on me depend, give me a chance,
O please prepense!"

Imagine

Imagine yourself after you pass away
Imagine your grave through night and through day
Wishing that you did not do as they say
Wishing that you had got up and had prayed.
Imagine, my friends, the day that you died
Imagine all of the tears that they cried

I wonder

The Muezzin calls the adhan
But no one pays heed.
I wonder...
Is it the people whose hearts have grown cold
Or is it the muezzin whose voice holds no emotion?

Woman was made from....

Woman was made from the rib of man,
She was not created from his head to top him,
Nor form his feet to be stepped upon,
She was made from his side to be close to him,
From beneath his arm to be protected by him,
Near his heart to be loved by him.

YA ALLAH

By: Syeda (18 year old Muslimah )

All praises are for you Allah, how I hope that you are there.

For sinful though I know I am, your displeasure I can not bear.

Never, till this moment, did I realize how much I've strayed.

Never, till now, was I more conscious of all those times when I should have prayed.
For sins are like heavy baggage, that one carries through Life, the airport.

Why didn't I realize sooner, that Earth is but a place of sport ?

What do you see when you look at me
Do you see someone limited, or someone free?

All some people can do is just look and stare
Simply because they can't see my hair.

Others think I am controlled and uneducated
They think that I am limited and un-liberated.

A DIALOGUE WITH SATAN!!

By Sheikh: Aa’ed Al Karny

Deep at night, I had this dialogue with Satan. Shortly, I heard the Fajr prayer call. I wanted to go to the mosque.

  •  He said: “The night is still long, so take a nap.”
  •  I said: “I’m afraid I’ll miss my obligatory prayer!”
  •  He said: “There is much time to go ”
  •  I said: “I’m afraid I’ll miss praying in congregation.”
  •  He said: “Don’t be too harsh on yourself in worship.”
Then, I didn’t wake up until the sun had already risen.

  • He whispered to me again saying: “Don’t feel sorry for what you have missed. The day is still full of many other chances.”
As soon as I started mentioning Allah, he brought to my mind all kinds of thoughts.
  • I said: “You are diverting me from making Duaa’.”
  • He said: “Just delay it until the night.” Shortly, I intended to repent.
  • He said: “Enjoy your young age before it comes to an end”!
  • I said: “I’m too afraid of death.”
  • He said: “But your life will not end now.”
I started to memorize Qor’an

If the Prophet Muhammad visited you

I WONDER...

If the Prophet Muhammad visited you
just for a day or two;
If he came unexpectedly
I wonder what you'd do.

Oh! I know you'd give your nicest room
to such an honored guest;
And all the food you'd serve to him
would be the very best;
And you would keep assuring him,
you're glad to have him there;
Is beyond compare.

The Tree !

Please someone find me

I want to find the light

but no one is there to guide me

Open the door someone give me it's key

My eyes were closed but now i can see

Please guide me there i want to be free

I want to be under the shade of that tree

That tree seems to give ease
