67. The Dominion (Al-Mulk)

Revealed before the Hijrah. This chapter has 30 verses.
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
1. Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion; and He over all things hath Power;-
2. He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving;-
3. He Who created the seven heavens one above another: no want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of the Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw?
4. Again turn thy vision a second time: (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, in a state worn out.
5. And We have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away Satans, and have prepared for them the Chastisement of the Blazing Fire.

32. Adoration (As-Sajdah)

Revealed before the Hijrah. This chapter has 30 verses.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. Alif. Lám. Mím.

2. (This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds.

3. Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Nay, it is the Truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest admonish a people to whom no warner has come before thee: in order that they may be rightly guided.

4. It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all between them, in six Days, then He established Himself on the Throne: ye have none, besides Him, to protect or intercede (for you): will ye not then receive admonition?

5. He directs the affairs from the heavens to the earth: then it ascends unto Him, on a Day, the measure of which is a thousand years of your reckoning.
